Avery Dennison™ FASSON® 0957 BLACK is a specialty-grade cloth duct tape specifically engineered to meet the rigorous demands of HVAC system installation, particularly for sealing, seaming, and joining Class 1 flex duct systems. This high-performance tape meets UL 181B-FX requirements and is recognized under File No. ALKW.MH14352, making it suitable for code-compliant ductwork in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
Designed with an aggressive rubber-based adhesive, FASSON® 0957 BLACK delivers excellent tack and long-term adhesion to low surface energy substrates such as polyethylene, as well as metals like stainless steel. Its polyester/cotton scrim cloth facestock provides superior mechanical strength, flexibility, and easy hand-tearability—making it ideal for contractors and HVAC professionals.
This product is available in both metalized and black finishes to accommodate varying aesthetic or visibility needs in installation environments. It is also engineered to resist mold growth and moisture, ensuring long-lasting performance even in humid and demanding conditions.
