Long Description

Avery Dennisonβ„’ FT 107 is a high-performance, rubber-based adhesive transfer tape engineered to deliver strong, long-lasting bonds to a wide range of low surface energy (LSE) substrates and metals. Designed with a permanent synthetic rubber adhesive and a uniform adhesive film, FT 107 provides excellent adhesion to difficult-to-bond materials such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), thermoplastic polyolefins (TPO), ABS, PVC, polystyrene, PU-ester foams, and various metals.

The product features a blue-green glassine liner for easy identification and liner removal during processing. Its flexible adhesive film ensures superior conformability to flat, irregular, or curved surfacesβ€”making it ideal for industrial bonding, foam lamination, and component assembly applications.

Key Features

Uniform adhesive thickness for consistent application performance

Flexible adhesive film conforms well to contoured surfaces

Specially formulated rubber adhesive optimized for LSE substrates

Blue-green glassine liner enables easy handling and removal

Performance Benefits

Reliable adhesion to LSE plastics, including PP, PE, and TPO

Strong bond to foamed and rigid plastics, metals, and painted surfaces

Good die-cutting characteristics for use in converted parts and assemblies

Supports fast, clean liner removal at the point of application

Maintains bond integrity under moderate heat and cold conditions

Typical Applications

Application Guidelines

Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of oils or contaminants before application.

Optimal performance is achieved through sufficient pressure to ensure good adhesive contact.

Results may vary depending on substrate surface energy, texture, and application pressure/time.
