Long Description
Avery Dennisonβ’ FT 1943 PP is a high-performance 4 mil transfer tape engineered with a low surface energy (LSE) modified acrylic adhesive, designed specifically for bonding to difficult substrates such as polypropylene, polyethylene, and other LSE plastics. This aggressive adhesive system provides exceptional initial tack, long-term adhesion, and excellent environmental and chemical resistance, even in demanding conditions.
FT 1943 PP is constructed with a tear-resistant white polypropylene release liner, ensuring stable handling and precise die-cutting performance, especially in automated or high-speed manufacturing environments. With a heavy adhesive coat weight, it can easily bond to rough, textured, or irregular surfaces, making it ideal for a wide range of industrial and converting applications.
Key Benefits
Ultra-High Adhesion to Low Surface Energy (LSE) Materials
Formulated to bond strongly to substrates like PP, PE, ABS, and other plastics that typically resist adhesion.
Heavy Adhesive Mass
Designed to fill gaps and adhere to irregular or textured surfaces with ease.
Excellent Die-Cutting & Handling Performance
The polypropylene liner resists tearing, offering clean cuts and consistent performance in converting operations.
Superior Environmental Resistance
Withstands exposure to moisture, solvents, and temperature extremes, ensuring bond durability in harsh conditions.
Solvent & Moisture Resistant Liner
Offers added protection and long-term stability during storage and application.
Two-Year Warranty
Maintains product integrity when stored under recommended conditions.
