Application Techniques:

Surface Preparation:
To achieve optimal adhesive bonding, ensure that the application surface is clean, dry, and free from contaminants such as grease and oil.

Adhesive Bond Strength:
Bond strength is heavily dependent on the amount of adhesive-to-surface contact. Therefore, it is important to apply the tape with consistent pressure and maintain proper temperature and time conditions to maximize performance.

Die Cutting and Laminating:
The tissue carrier provides excellent dimensional stability and is ideal for die-cutting and laminating operations. The controlled adhesive thickness ensures consistent, reliable performance during these processes.

Storage and Shelf Life:

Shelf Life:
FT 7512 is designed for two years of shelf life when stored under proper conditions.

Storage Conditions:
To maintain optimal performance, store the tape at 64-72Β°F (18-22Β°C), with 30-70% relative humidity, and keep it out of direct sunlight. The tape should be stored in its original packaging to prevent contamination and damage.

Applications:

Foam and Felt Bonding:
FT 7512 is ideal for bonding foam, felt, and fibrous materials, making it suitable for applications in industries such as automotive, furniture, and packaging.

Component Mounting:
The tape is commonly used in component mounting where high adhesion and dimensional stability are critical, such as in the assembly of electronics, appliances, and consumer goods.

Die-Cutting and Laminating:
Its high stability and controlled adhesive thickness make it perfect for die-cutting and laminating applications in printing and labeling industries.

Conclusion:

Avery Dennisonβ„’ FT 7512 is a high-performance double-coated tissue tape that offers excellent dimensional stability, strong adhesion, and easy application for a wide variety of foam, fibrous, and non-woven materials.
