Long Description

Avery Dennisonβ„’ FT 8327 12 Pt Board is a 4.6 mil double-coated polyester tape engineered with a differential rubber adhesive system designed specifically for foam bonding applications. The construction features a foam bonding rubber adhesive on the laminating side and a high shear rubber adhesive on the mounting side, making it ideal for securing foams to low surface energy (LSE) materials such as polypropylene, polyethylene, and powder-coated surfaces. The tape is mounted on a heavy-duty 12-point poly-coated kraft board liner, offering superior handling, converting, and die-cutting performance.

This high-performance tape is widely used in the appliance, HVAC, automotive, and general industrial sectors, especially where strong bonding, dimensional stability, and temperature resistance are required. Its robust construction ensures effective performance even under demanding environmental conditions and high-stress applications.

 Key Features

Double-Coated Construction
Designed with a differential rubber adhesive system to deliver optimal performance on varied substrates.

Multipurpose Rubber Adhesive (Laminating Side)
Provides excellent foam bonding performance, even with a wide range of open-cell and closed-cell foams.

High Shear Rubber Adhesive (Mounting Side)
Delivers strong adhesion to LSE materials with high temperature and stress resistance.

Polyester (PET) Film Carrier
Adds dimensional stability, high tensile strength, and smooth handling during converting or laminating processes.

12 Pt Poly-Coated Kraft Board Liner
Offers exceptional rigidity for easy manual handling, die-cutting, and lamination with precise registration.

 Benefits

Excellent Foam Bonding Performance
Ensures a secure and reliable attachment between foam and various substrates.

Superior Conformability & Handling
Ideal for applications requiring easy lamination and positioning due to its stiff board liner.

High Heat Resistance
Suitable for use in environments with elevated temperatures, maintaining bond strength and shear resistance.

Enhanced Converting Efficiency
The heavy board liner supports clean die-cutting and slitting with minimal distortion or edge curl.

Two-Year Warranty
Ensures confidence in long-term shelf life and product stability under standard storage conditions.
