The MV-SC2016EM-06S-WBN-Mini is a compact yet powerful smart camera engineered for precision inspection tasks in modern industrial automation. Featuring a 1.6-megapixel CMOS global-shutter sensor, the smart camera ensures crisp, distortion-free capture even in fast-moving production lines. With a native resolution of 1408 × 1024, a fine 3.45 μm pixel size, and an optical 6 mm focal length, it provides high detail and accuracy suitable for demanding inspection, measurement, and positioning applications. The global shutter architecture eliminates motion artifacts, while its 60 fps capability supports high-speed dynamic inspection. Operators can fine-tune imaging performance with adjustable gain (0–15 dB) and a flexible exposure range from 16 μs to 1 second, accommodating both low-light and high-speed conditions.
The MV-SC2016EM-06S-WBN-Mini integrates a rich set of machine vision tools that support a wide variety of industrial inspection workflows. It includes comprehensive modules for counting (spot, edge, pattern), object existence verification (circle, line, spot, edge, pattern), and precise locating using fixture tools. For logical processing, it offers tools such as condition judging, character comparison, calculation, and If modules, enabling complex inspection decisions directly on-camera. The measurement suite covers L2L angle, diameter, brightness average, contrast evaluation, width measurement, P2L, greyscale level, line angle, edge width, and P2P measurement — providing high accuracy for dimensional and quality control tasks. Advanced OCR and classification capabilities support robust identification and character reading in diverse industrial environments.
The device supports solution importing and exporting, enabling up to 8 solutions and 40 modules to be saved, allowing easy reconfiguration for projects involving multiple product variants or inspection steps. It integrates seamlessly into industrial ecosystems through a broad array of communication protocols, including RS-232, TCP/UDP, FTP, PROFINET, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, MELSEC/SLMP, FINS, and Keyence KV, ensuring compatibility with PLCs, robotic systems, and MES environments.
